Art Lessons with Mattias Lanas: Inspired by Tony Foster’s Journey
In 2020 I began teaching beginner watercolor workshops at The Foster museum in Palo Alto, California, to deepen peoples' engagement with the artworks there. The benefits of the workshops were twofold: students learned about watercolor painting and gained more knowledge of and appreciation for British artist-explorer Tony Foster’s work. The videos in this series are an extension of the workshops, born during the Covid-19 pandemic, focused on the diverse subjects from Tony’s 16th Journey, Exploring Beauty: Watercolour Diaries from the Wild.
